
George Edward Holloway, 52 of Lansing formerly of Benton Harbor departed this life on March 26, 2016 at home. A service celebrating his life will be held Thursday, April 14 at Pentecostal Apostolic Faith Peace Temple, 686 Territorial Rd, Benton Harbor. George was born February 19, 1964 in Benton Harbor to the union of the late Elder Clarence Holloway Sr. and Mother, Martha Young Holloway. He was the eleventh child born the baby boy. George graduated from B.H.H.S. in 1982 and he served his county in the United States Marines. He was employed at various companies such as, Walmart, Dawson’s Manufacturing and Supreme Casting and he enrolled in Lansing College. George was loved by his family and friends and will always be in their hearts. He had his own special way of doing things. George loved watching sports, especial football and cooking. Grilling was his specialty.
George leaves to cherish his memory, his mother; daughter, Jasmine Holloway; son, Armand Holloway; sisters, Willa Coleman, Dorothy Jones, Annette Holloway, Linda Holloway, Therese Holloway and Nina Holloway; brothers, Johnny (Sharon) Holloway, Charles Holloway and Tommie (Terry) Holloway; Grandchildren; special friend, Marilyn Crayton; a host of aunties, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
George was preceded in death by his father; sister, Magdalene Smith; brother, Clarence Holloway Jr.
