St. Joe soccer opens season with 4-3 win at Edwardsburg

The St. Joseph boys soccer team opened up the 2019 season with a 4-3 comeback victory at Edwardsburg on Saturday. Edwardsburg scored 2:37 into the game on a goal from Brendan Leniski. St. Joseph would tie the game a little more than 10 minutes later on a goal from Jacob Scouler. Less than 6 minutes later Edwardsburg’s Brodie Sailee converted on a St. Joe defensive miscue and regained a 2-1 lead. After halftime St. Joe evened the game just 1:20 into the second half on Scouler’s 2nd goal of the game. St. Joe would grab their first lead of the match about 5 minutes later on a goal from Casey Miller. Tyler Burnette gave St. Joe a 4-2 lead in the 52nd minute. Edwarsburg would pull to within a goal in the 64th minute by Anthony Castelluci on a penalty kick. Nick Kyrgios Fined $113K After Smashing Racquet At Cincinnati Masters

The ATP has fined tennis player Nick Kyrgios a total of $113,000 following his second-round loss at the Cincinnati Masters on Wednesday. Kyrgios argued loudly with the chair umpire and smashed several rackets. WR Antonio Brown Joins Oakland Raiders Training Camp After Losing Helmet Grievance
