David Lee Sanders Jr, 36 of Benton Harbor went before the Lord on February 10, 2016 at home. A service celebrating his life will be held Friday, February 19 at Family Funeral Home, Benton Harbor. David was born January 6, 1980 in St. Joseph to David Lee Sanders Sr. and Amy Lee Sanders-Redd. David attended Coloma High School and completed the GED program latter on. He worked various jobs in the restaurant field and did minor construction work. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. David knew the promise of 2 Corinthians 5:8, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
David leaves precious memories in the hearts of his son, Aiydon Jones; parents, David (Connie) Sanders Sr. and Amy (Richard) Sanders-Redd; siblings, Delilah (Gary) Penn, Tamika Sanders, Terrell Sanders, Ericka Sanders, and Tiffany Sanders; 6 step siblings; Godparents, Elder and Mother Charles Motton; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
