Joyce Artis Hanson, age 85, of Paw Paw, passed away June 2, 2016. She was born February 10, 1931, in Valley City North Dakota to the late Harvey (Helen Artis) Kennedy. She is survived by her two sons; Tim (Donna) Hanson and Mike (Sherry) Hanson, along with six grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and her sister, Rachel Sauer. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Hanson in 1997. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home 502, W., Michigan Ave, Paw Paw where funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m. with Larry Lowis officiating. Private burial will take place Friday at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery, Kalamazoo. Joyce was dedicated and took pride in working at her wholesale greenhouse business that she started in Almena Township.
