Ronald David Stoynoff
Ronald Stoynoff was an accomplished entrepreneur and believed it was most important to lead by example. He will be remembered for his kind heart and always treating his family, friends, employees and acquaintances with dignity and respect. Ron, along with two partners, started Manatron Inc., in Kalamazoo. Their small company eventually grew and was listed on the Nasdaq with nearly 500 employees. He was a talented musician and was a founding member of the well known rock band called the Malibus in the 1960’s. He was later a founding member of the local band “The Unknowns” and played with them during the 2000’s until the time he was 68. Ron believed in giving back and was a strong supporter of his community. With his natural entrepreneurial mindset, he was always looking for ways to improve things and give back. For more than a decade, he served on the Antwerp Township Planning Commission and ZBA. He was the first instructor to bring martial arts to the Paw Paw area in the 1970’s. He held a 4th Dan Black Belt in Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwon Do. He was recognized as a certified international instructor. Ron also spent 40 years trying to keep people safe! He held a NRA pistol instructors certification and taught self defense via special classes including combat pistol. He was an avid hunter and conservationist.
